Party Pilipinas marks Independence Day

MANILA, Philippines - Party Pilipinas is making Sunday afternoons worth staying at home.

When the program’s roadshow ended this summer, Party Pilipinas began holding its show at the Studio 7 of GMA7.

The show’s improvements are noticeable. Party Pilipinas’ impressive stage, high-quality lighting, better camera angles/shots and astounding production numbers are truly significant. It’s really like one big party.

Party Pilipinas is now handled by two teams led by directors Mark Reyes and Rico Gutierrez.

The production number of Rachelle Ann Go last week, who was singing while hanging mid-air then positioned herself upside down before she was lowered to the stage, and the production number of Kyla with Kris Lawrence and Joshua Desiderio, who both played their baby grand pianos live, are two of the many unforgettable production numbers in Party Pilipinas.

Stars of the show play a musical instrument while dancing and singing live.

On June 13, Party Pilipinas unveils an all-Pinoy celebration. Dubbed as Pula…Bughaw…Dilaw, The Philippine Independence Day Special, this edition pays tribute to the icons of the music and entertainment industry: Apo Hiking Society, Eraserheads, Francis Magalona and more.
