Which just leaves Maria the only parent in the group, as a single mom she balances her social life, her work as a photographer and time with her daughter. No matter what’s going on in their daily lives, these seven friends still find time each week to meet up for cocktails.
2nd Avenue gives you another dose of Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild winner Hugh Laurie as the narcissistic, yet brilliant diagnostician Gregory House. Back from the brink of death, House must now face a mourning best friend, who holds him responsible for his girlfriend’s death. Will he be able to win back the friendship that keeps him rational or will he wave goodbye to his best friend and his sanity? House Season 5 premieres June 15, 10 p.m.
Four months have passed since the bus crash that injured House and killed Amber, Wilson’s girlfriend. Unable to cope with the memories the hospital holds and constantly seeing House, Wilson (James Evan) resigns from Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital. While at the hospital, House continues to work with his new team: Plastic surgeon Chris Taub (Peter Jacobson), secretive Dr. Remy “Thirteen” Hadley (Olivia Wilde) and enthusiastic Dr. Lawrence Kutner (Kal Penn). Rejoining the team is Dr. Eric Foreman (Omar Epps) who was asked to return by Dean of Medicine Dr. Lisa Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) to act as her spy on House and his erratic antics.
Before catching House Season 5, tune in at 9 p.m. for 2nd Avenue’s newest medical drama Royal Pains. Mark Feuerstein is Hank Lawson, the Hampton’s newest accessory — a concierge doctor. Royal Pains is a medical drama like no other as it takes place anywhere but the operating room. The doctor has some filthy means to cure the filthy rich.
