Usher releases seventh album
MANILA, Philippines - With the release of his seventh album, Raymond v. Raymond, Usher returns to his original medium — making songs into masterpieces that depict the struggle between man and legend.
The album marks the Atlanta-based singer’s third No. 1 debut on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and his fourth No. 1 debut on the R&B Albums chart. It features the pop hit OMG featuring will.i.am which took the No. 1 spot on Magic 89.9, RX 93.1 and Wave 89.1.
From his enchanting lyrical delivery on There Goes My Baby to the cosmic creativity of Monstar produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Usher picks up where he left off in the style of his seminal album Confessions expressing what’s on his mind, but leaving enough to the imagination and engage the five senses with breathtaking vocal delivery.
Other tracks in the album are She Don’t Know, Mars vs Venus and Hey Daddy (Daddy’s Home), produced by The Runners and Rico Love which finds Usher more playful as a man of experience.
Raymond v. Raymond was made in Atlanta and Las Vegas studios, reflective of the contrasting themes Usher explores. It is now out in CDs under Sony Music. To download Usher’s ringback tones, truetones, full track music from the album, just text SONY to 3456.
