Midnight DJ now more scary

MANILA, Philippines - Filipino televiewers love scary programs especially when sprinkled with a bit of drama, adventure and comedy. This is what TV5’s Midnight DJ presents every Friday night.

Oyo Sotto as witty Samboy is MDJ’s leader. Desiree del Valle as Andrea is gifted with a third eye. Jenny Miller (Trixie) is smart while child star Julia Chua (Swit) is cute. Lucia Cristobal (Kimchi) is Samboy’s love interest. Joaqui Tupas (Bodjie) and Meg Imperial (QT) make a hilarious tandem. John Medina (police chief Arthur) is macho while Gilbert Telis (Mang Tokleng) is fast becoming the kiddies’ favorite character.

Tomorrow, our MDJ bunch battles Halimaw Sa Hamog (played by Don Mendoza), a gray-colored monster with long fingernails, is naked and emits mist from his nose. It will be our heroes’ task to discover why the creature appears, disappears and reappears to kill nine-year-old Caloy (Basty Alcances), 20-year-old Letty (Aifha Medina), 40-year-old kaingero (Marcus Madrigal) and old Mang Gorio (Pocholo Montes). Can Samboy and friends stop the monster’s evil deeds?
