Cerrudo Classico is back

MANILA, Philippines - After a one-year hiatus from the concert scene, Cerrudo Classico which topbills Bo Cerrudo, is back via an-all new offering for 2010 titled Words and Music on May 19 at 8 p.m. The concert features songs by Burt Bacharach, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Barry Manilow and Rodgers and Hammerstein.

Bo performs with an ensemble from the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra under the musical direction of Rodel Colmenar and stage direction by Freddie Santos.

Since its inception in 2005, Cerrudo Classico has helped over 75 foundations raise much-needed funds for their projects and beneficiaries. Again this year, the show is being utilized as such an activity. The series of concerts kicks off on May 19 with the concert for the benefit of the Christian Family Movement, and on May 26 for Gawin Ang Tama Movement of the Character Building Foundation.
