The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - IVision Cataract and Lasik Center officially opened on the second floor of Ayala Alabang Town Center. Guests-of-honor were Health Department Sec. Esperanza Cabral, Philippine National Red Cross governor Leonida “Baby” Bayani-Ortiz, Muntinlupa Mayor Aldrin San Pedro and Angel Jacob.

“Eye care is a big part of wellness and we understand the need for an eye center where people can easily go to have perfect vision,” says Dr. Enrique Enriquez, president of IVision.

“We decided to put up IVision in the hopes that we can make eye care more accessible to people who need it. We’ve observed that most people are afraid of visiting an eye doctor,” says Dr. Rainier Covar, managing partner of IVision. “There are also those who have no time to visit their doctors because of their busy schedules. With IVision, having an eye check-up is a pleasant experience. Our staff is well-trained we also have visiting doctors who are always ready to assist the patients.”

Angel shares her thoughts on the importance of perfect vision, “In my profession, I need to read scripts when preparing for hosting events. My eyesight needs to be in tip-top shape. I believe that having good eyesight is part of our general well-being. In my case, I have my eyes regularly checked twice a year.”
