Party Pilipinas rocks Dagupan

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The sun was sizzling hot last weekend, but the warm reception of Pangasinenses to Gma 7’ s Party Pilipinas in Dagupan beat the summer heat.

More than 10,000 fans showed up and participated in the two-day celebration of the Kapuso Bangus Festival, which started with two Kapuso Mall shows last Saturday and ended with the live telecast of Party Pilipinas.

Dagupeños trooped to the SM Rosales Events Center for the Kapuso Mall Show. The event was led by Party Pilipinas regulars including StarStruck V winners Sarah Labahti, Steven Silva, Diva Montelaba, Enzo Pineda and Rocco Nacino. They were joined by partyphiles Yassi and Julie Ann San Jose together with party jock Bela Padilla.

After the jam-packed event at SM Rosales, Sarah, Steven, Diva, Enzo and Rocco proceeded to another mall show at the CSI City Mall and joined Jean Garcia, Jennica Garcia and Dion Ignacio of Sine Novela Presents: Ina, Kasusuklaman Ba Kita?.

Also present at the mall show were the Panday Kids stars. Buboy Villar serenaded the audience while co-stars Sabrina Man and Julian Trono showcased their dancing prowess. The show was hosted by the funny duo of Mike “Pekto” Nacua and John Feir who amused the Dagupeños with their punchlines.

Culminating the two-day event was the live telecast of Party Pilipinas which aired from the Dagupan Stadia.

Party Pilipinas wowed the Dagupeños and viewers around the world with performances from Ogie Alcasid, Jaya, Janno Gibbs, Kyla, Jay-R, Mark Bautista, Gian Magdangal, Frencheska Farr, Kris Lawrence, Mark Herras, Rochelle Pangilinan, Sarah, Steven, Diva, Enzo, Rocco and Elmo Magalona.

Making the Party Pilipinas Dagupan Roadshow more special was the appearance of Rachelle Ann Go as Kapuso star.
