MANILA, Philippines - The controversial dethronement of this year’s Binibining Pilipinas Universe, Maria Venus Raj (photo) , has become a trending topic for weeks in the news, talk shows and on-line forums. Raj was dethroned by the Binibining Pilipinas Charties, Inc. (BPCI) due to the inconsistencies discovered in her birth certificate that she submitted.
