What makes Jett laugh?

DIRECT LINE - Boy Abunda -

Iconic rock performer Jett Pangan will play Professor Callahan in Legally Blonde, the Musical.  Jett has appeared in numerous Atlantis Productions such as Spring Awakening, Disney’s Beauty and The Beast, Baby, Dreamgirls, The Rocky Horror Show and Tick, Tick, Boom! Based on the hit movie starring Reese Witherspoon, Legally Blonde, the Musical will take you from the social whirl of California campus life to Harvard’s Halls of Justice with a bright, new heroine Elle Woods (and of course, her chihuahua, Bruiser).  Legally Blonde cemented Reese’s superstar status in Hollywood. 1. What other talent would you like to have aside from music and acting and why?

I want to be a really good skateboarder. I can’t go 50 yards on the damn thing without potentially falling off and hurting myself.

2. In your opinion, what is the worst thing about being an actor? The best?

Worst: Forgetting your lines. Best: Everything else.

3. Are you afraid of getting old?

The only thing I fear about getting old is forgetting things, especially great moments.

4. What was the best thing said about you?

Somebody once called me a “renaissance man” because of all the artistic stuff I’m into and my engineering degree. Wow, maybe I should invent something like that Da Vinci guy…

5. When do you consider ambition healthy?

It’s always good to set a goal for yourself, as long as it doesn’t hurt people along the way.

6. What is the question you have been asked most often? And the question you hate most?

Most hated question: “When will your band, The Dawn, reunite?” We reunited like, 10 years ago! We’ve done five albums and a million shows since! Asked most often: “When did The Dawn start?”

7. How well do you understand women?

Well, enough to know not to piss them off when it’s that time of the month.

8. What childish thing do you still do as an adult?

I still roughhouse with my 11-year-old son, and I still end up getting hurt.

That which attacks my faith in God. A role that questions it is OK, but to disrespect it, no thanks.

20. Who is your favorite singer? Why? Your least favorite?

Bono, because U2 is the greatest rock band on earth and his voice just moves me. Least favorite? H’wag na lang, hehe. But anybody who can barely stay in tune for five seconds in a professional band should take voice lessons.
