Are you ready to see your future?

Ver Paulino - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - What would you do if you can see your future six months from now? Fox Channel’s Flash Forward will give you the chance to do so via its latest science-fiction TV series, whose pilot episode (Director’s Cut version) was shown before the members of the press recently.

The screening was presented to media and Fox’s trade partners at Manila Ocean Park’s White Moon Bar.

“We are thrilled to finally bring this global blockbuster TV series to our local cable TV channels. I’m sure that viewers will find Flash Forward’s 23 episodes worth watching with its special effects and suspenseful storytelling,” FOX International Channels (FIC) territory director Jude Turcuato said.

The event became even more exciting when everyone had the chance to glimpse his future via the tarot cards of members of Spirit Questors, Inc.

Flash Forward is based on a novel of the same title. It tells the story of the world blacking out for two minutes and 17 seconds, then showing Los Angeles on fire. Airplanes and cars are scattered across highways. Buildings are in flames. Bodies are everywhere.

FBI, headed by Mark Benford (Joseph Fiennes) investigates this freak event.

The series also stars John Cho (Demetri Noh), Jack Davenport (Lloyd Simcoe), Zachary Knighton (Bryce Varley), Peyton List (Nicole Kirby), Dominic Monaghan (Simon), Brían O’Byrne (Aaron Stark), Courtney Vance (Stanford Wedeck), Sonya Walger (Olivia Benford) and Christine Woods (Janis Hawk).

Flash Forward’s next episodes include White to Play (tomorrow, April 12, 10 p.m.) and 137 Sekunden (April 19, 10 p.m.). It airs every Monday at 10 p.m. on FOX Channel (Sky Cable Channel 50).
