MANILA, Philippines - Joemari Cunanan and Stephanie Ongtengco were named Mr. and Ms. Lyceum 2010 recently, one of the highlights of the week-long celebration of the 58th anniversary of LPU-Manila’s Foundation. The fast-paced musical extravaganza with the theme Shindig, held at the university’s spacious and breezy quadrangle, was put together by LPU Prof. Rosemarie Ampil and her crew of Events Management students.

Cunanan, a student of LPU’s College of International Tourism and Hospitality Management (CITHM), and Ongtengco, from the College of Engineering, will be the Lyceum’s Ambassadors of Goodwill and official representatives to inter-school activities and events for the 2010-2011 school year.  Cunanan and Ongtengco each won a cash prize of P10,000, a one-year 100 percent scholarship (tuition), a brand new cell phone from Globe Telecom, a round-trip ticket to Cebu for two, courtesy of Cebu Pacific, gift packs and items from Unilever, Manila Ocean Park and Adobo Magazine.
