Stardev offers new singing techniques

MANILA, Philippines - Stardev Music Studios, managed by singer-educator Michelle Junia, offers both popular, new techniques in singing.

Michelle finished her degree in music some years ago, but she tries to improve on the techniques she has learned through her continuing education in her craft and her experience in musical performances. Thus, the Stardev education evolves to suit the times and taste of Filipinos.

Michelle went to the US to attend training under Seth Riggs, the most successful voice teacher of the late Michael Jackson, Prince, Barbra Streisand, Anita Baker, Madonna, Natalie Cole, Stevie Wonder and Michael Bolton.

Seth is the founder of the “speech-level-singing” technique which is considered the most effective technique in improving the singing voice.

Aside from learning the techniques in singing, stage performance and playing of musical instruments, Stardev students also take part in the summer-end concert production to build up their confidence when in front of an audience.

This year, the summer-end concert production will be held at the Teatrino in Greenhills on May 29.
