Nurse vs doctor in Hawthorne

MANILA, Philippines - Tonight at 8:30 on Q-11, Hawthorne lead character Christina Hawthorne, played by Jada Pinkett Smith, faces a big dilemma as the new company taking over Richmond Trinity Hospital requires her to lay off a few nurses.

As the chief nursing officer, Christina is tasked to fire six nurses to make room for the changes in the hospital’s budget. Dr. Tom Wakefield (Michael Vartan) is also asked to let go of a veteran doctor.

And as if this is not bad enough, a disagreement over the appropriate treatment for a patient who is said to have had stroke 12 hours before it manifested, brings friction between a nurse staff and a doctor and lands Christina and Tom in the middle of the whole fiasco.
