Stars share winning moments

MANILA, Philippines - The 700 Club Asia studio beamed brighter with guest stars who came to support the live telecast of Siguradong Panalo Ka!

Siguradong Panalo Ka! showcased winning stories and testimonies of Filipinos who discovered the secret to a victorious, radically changed life. The special aired live on Q-11 and via www.cbnasia.org.

Actors, beauty queens, singers, dancers, models and cagers helped out in taking calls from home viewers who want to donate to the CBN Asia Family of Ministries, or ask for prayers and counseling. The celebrities also shared their personal triumphs by looking back at their winning moments.

Miriam Quiambao shared how she recovered from a slide when she joined the Miss Universe 1999 and from a failed relationship.

Precious Lara Quigaman recalled how she became Miss International 2005 and the criticisms that came with winning.

Rhian Ramos related that God has always been faithful to her.

Lema Diaz of Philippine Allstars shared her group’s winning moment in the 2006 World Hip-Hop Dance Championships.

Also present during the weeklong TV special were Marco Alcaraz, Hiyasmin Neri, Daisy Reyes, talent manager Joy Cancio, Kat Gonzales of Jaboom Twins, Jinky Oda, world-class baritone Andrew Fernando, Alvin Anson, Sarah Balabagan-Vergara, model Gino dela Peña, magician JB dela Cruz, Carisse Escueta of Republikha, and bands The Rinka Collective and Doki.
