Hanna Flores' debut album out
MANILA, Philippines - Hanna Flores (photo), daughter of songwriter-arranger-album producer Homer Flores moves out of her father’s shadow and starts to create a name for herself via the self-titled debut album under Star Records.
Hanna, 18, is bent on following in her dad’s footsteps by entering the music industry and creating her own niche. Hanna learned to sing and play the piano at a young age with the help of her mentors Kitchie Molina, Delight Hubill and The CompanY. She finished various workshops under Star Magic, Music Academy, Center for Pop Music and Trumpets Playshop. She bagged the coveted role in High School Musical OnStage at the Meralco Theater and The Wiz (both under Trumpets). She also made it to Star Circle Quest Top 25 and was part of the all-female dance group Bounce on A.S.A.P. Fanatics.
The spotlight is now on Hanna as she starts to showcase her versatility as a singer and songwriter. Her debut album under Star Records is now out in stores and carries the heartwarming single Love Me, Hold Me written by Alvina Sy and her dad. Come And Take Me, Munting Hiling, You Made Life So Beautiful and a Christmas track titled You Know It’s Christmas are some of Hanna’s original compositions on the album.
Munting Hiling is used in Pokwang’s Your Song series. Dahil Ikaw ang Mahal Ko was used in the last episodes of ABS-CBN‘s primetime soap Tayong Dalawa. Hanna’s Magparamdam Ka earned an airplay on television when it was used as theme in Precious Hearts Presents My Cheating Heart.
