The new Viva talent

MANILA, Philippines - Musical theater performer Marvin Ong (second from right) signed an exclusive contract with Viva Entertainment. His debut pop album, Captivating, will be released under Viva Records label on April.

After his musical debut in Repertory Philippines’ Sweeney Todd, Marvin plays the title role as JT in PETA’s Si Juan Tamad, Ang Diablo at Limang Milyong Boto. The musical still attracts S.R.O. crowds at the PETA Theater in Quezon City Fridays to Sundays.

Marvin is the only child of Wilbert and Mary Ong. He is a senior communication arts student at the Ateneo University. Marvin also wrote the song Captivating.

With Marvin during the contract signing were his dad, Viva big boss Vic del Rosario (rightmost) and Viva Music Group president Tony Ocampo.
