Will Ikaw Sana end on a happy note?

MANILA, Philippines - GMA 7’s original production and top-rating show Ikaw Sana starring Mark Herras and Jennylyn Mercado will air its final episode tomorrow, Feb. 5. Director Joel Lamangan and the lead stars are happy and thankful for the success of Ikaw Sana and Jennylyn who plays the character of Eliza, says she is saddened because the show is about to end.

Despite her effective portrayal of the villain Sophia, there was no love lost between Pauleen Luna and her fans.

“Mabait naman ako di ba?” says a smiling Pauleen. She seems to have found her niche as a fine character actress. Ikaw Sana also serves as a reunion for the three lead stars with direk Joel, who was their director in the movie Blue Moon.

“What I will miss about the show? Actually yung pangungulit ko sa set, kay Jen and Pauleen, sa lahat,” says Mark, who gamely poses for photographs with the staff and fans during the set visit.

For the finale of Ikaw Sana, Jennylyn says viewers should watch for her confrontation scenes with Pauleen. “May transition na lumalaban na talaga, from kawawa to palaban, strong na rin ang personality talaga nung character ko. Basta abangan ninyo, a week with action scenes ang ending namin,” says Jennylyn.

Ikaw Sana also stars Tirso Cruz III, Marissa Delgado, Tony Mabesa, Maritoni Fernandez, Camille Prats, Mariz Ricketts, Luz Valdez, Alicia Alonzo, Arthur Solinap, Vaness del Moral, Vivo Ouano, Jim Pebangco, Jana Roxas, Gerald Madrid and Frank Garcia.
