MANILA, Philippines - The University of the East Alumni Association, Inc. (UEAAI) will host a cocktail party for the launch of the First Global Reunion of UE alumni on Jan. 10, 6 p.m., at the Grand Ballroom of the newly-opened Marriott Hotel Manila, 10 Newport City Complex, Pasay City.
UEAAI adviser, UE marketing executive director and UE Red Warriors Men’s Basketball team manager Jesus Tanchanco Sr. said the launch will kick off the UE alumni global reunion.
The UE Alumni Global Reunion, set June 3, 4, 5 and 6 at The Orleans Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada brings together UE alumni, past and present UE faculty members and UE academic and administrative officers, in a four-day event of fun, excitement, games, sightseeing, entertainment, exhilarating experiences, camaraderie, rekindling of friendships, new friendships, forging business linkages, and of course, food and drinks.
UEAAI Global Reunion-Philippine Delegation Steering Committee chair and UE alumnus-achiever CEO Cezar Quiambao, president of Stradcom (an info tech company) said free cocktails, courtesy of the committee, would be served for the first 500 UE alumni attendees of the launch. Heavy cocktails plus entertainment from samba dancers and a quartet, courtesy of UE alumnus-achiever Robert Theodore Romero, UniLab corporate director, are lined up for the bash. Red and white smart casual is the attire of the night. The venue, Marriott Hotel, is owned by Outstanding UE alumnus Andrew Tan, chairman and president of Megaworld.
