The stars' Christmas wishes

(Second of two parts)

Here is the continuation of the Christmas wish list from some of our stars. Read on.

Merry Christmas to everyone!

Sitti — 1.) No more wars, no more killings; 2.) love and understanding to reign in humanity especially here in our country; 3.) for people to be more caring towards our environment (we have only one earth, we should care for it); 4.) that an honest, capable and inspiring leader be elected president next year; 5.) that justice be served for my brother’s case and financial abundance and security for all members of my family.

Tintin Bersola — 1.) To have a safe delivery of my baby boy who is due on February 2010 and for my placenta totalis to correct itself so I can deliver the normal way and not via C section; 2) a major TV project because I miss hosting for mainstream TV.

Bianca Gonzales — A plane ticket to San Francisco to meet my godson, hahaha.

Gelli de Belen — 1.) For us Filipinos to choose leaders we can trust and who will truly help our country; 2.) for us Filipinos to realize that our leaders cannot help us if we ourselves are part of the corruption we claim to abhor and do our share of helping ourselves and not just waiting for blessings to come our way; 3.) for us Filipinos to live our lives taking care and respecting the land we live in; 4.) for my children to grow up well rounded, living with integrity and knowing God’s love; 5.) and for me, that I may live my life to the fullest and be constantly grateful for the blessings I have been given.

Angelika de la Cruz — I want a new Mac desktop.

Verni Varga — My only Christmas wish is to put up a non-profit organization where all artists can participate through their God given talents and our goal would be able to help our brothers and sisters. I believe that it is time to give back. The other four wishes will fall into place once this project has started.

Martin Nievera — 1.) A hug from Ellen de Generes after singing in her TV show; 2.) a warehouse filled with medicine, food, clothing and money (more than enough to take care of everybody affected by a calamity that has not yet hit); 3.) new homes for those who lost theirs; 4) one Christmas with three sons; 5.) a country that has finally learned how to get along.

Ogie Alcasid — 1.) That my loved ones continue to be abundantly blessed; 2.) that my parents be blessed with good health; 3.) that I get to reflect at the year that has passed, a year that was filled with trials; to never forget the events but learn from them as we go on with life; 4.) that passionate artistic expression flourish in the entertainment industry; 5.) that our people continue to be resilient and continue to show the world that we too can be great.

GB Sampedro — 1.) A mainstream film; 2.) good health for me and my loved ones; 3.) peace of mind; 4.) brand new house; 5.) all of Candy’s (Pangilinan) wishes to come true.

Mariel Rodriguez — 1.) A free day (but then again, I’m so grateful to have work but I don’t mind having one day Christmas vacation… just one day lang… hehehe); 2.) to get to finish my Christmas list because I haven’t delivered my gifts yet; 3.) white Canadian towels (I love white Canadian towels!); 4.) my uber family to love our first Christmas together as uber family; 5.) pop cap games to make plants vs zombies 2 so I will have a new game.
