MANILA, Philippines - Tutuban Mall lines up a series of events to commemorate Bonifacio Day tomorrow.
Being located in a notable landmark such as Tutuban in historic Manila where the acknowledged “Father of Philippine Revolution,” Andres Bonifacio, was born, Tutuban Mall deemed it appropriate to celebrate this momentous day with activities starting off with a prayer, a flag-raising ceremony, opening remarks from an official of the National Historical Institute, and a message from a direct descendant of Andres Bonifacio.
There will be a wreath-laying ceremony at Bonifacio Plaza, with remarks from the general manager of Tutuban Properties, Inc. (TPI), operators of Tutuban Mall, to cap the ceremony in the morning.
The Tutuban Job Fair at the Tutuban Mall’s TMX Convention Center follows at 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event started a day before. The Alay Medikal Para sa Bayan II, a medical mission-cum-corporate social responsibility effort of the mall will also be held. An entertainment number from a celebrity guest follows at 6:30 p.m. to be followed by the Christmas tree lighting ceremony, to be led by TPI executives and featuring Gabby Concepcion, Erich Gonzales, Joel Cruz of Aficionado, and Kamikazee.
What would Tutuban Mall be without its popular midnight sale? This time, shoppers will be treated to a free concert feturing Kamikazee at 7:30 p.m.
