Hair Asia's Salon 2009 on Nov. 17

MANILA, Philippines - Hair Asia’s Salon Spectacular 2009 will be held on Nov. 17, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., at the World Trade Center on Roxas Blvd., Pasay City.

“We will be distributing the donated salon equipment, tools and products during the event,” assured Hair Asia president Evelyn Alvaran-Cruz.

Hair Asia launched Sagip Salon to mobilize support and aid for members of the hair and beauty industry who were victims of the super-typhoons.

“We are forever grateful for the support,” said Evelyn.

Relief goods came from Shawill Enterprises, Jackie Barbasa of Push Thru Marketing, Miki Martinez, Getz Brothers (distributors of Finesse Styling Products), Golden Fabulouz and Ah Glow (various salon products like shampoo, conditioners and styling/coloring and rebonding treatments). Also James Cooper, Angelo Justin and Bambbi Fuentes who gave a hydraulic chair; Leo Priagola who contributed hair blowers and irons; Linda Tan of LBY Enterprises who donated numerous spray guns; and long-time industry friend Teng Roma of Emphasis Salon who donated cash.

Part of the whole-day Salon Spectacular is the Parade of Regions with Hair Asia cover girl Katrina Halili representing Palawan on the runway with Palawan Regional chairman Bong Villanueva, oath-taking of regional chairmen, hair shows and trade booths.

On the main stage as well is a demonstration and show presented by Vidal Sassoon Educator, Matthew Foster of London, joined by the Hair Asia family as Principal of the Hair Asia Academy upon its opening in the coming months.

Several industry partners will be launching their newest products such as L’Oreal Professionnel, Matrix, Revlon, Finesse, Suave and Babyliss, as well as Aficionado Germany Perfume, Ahglow, Aktuelle, Beauty Concept, Beauty Lane Phils., Beauty Touch, Botanique Spa, Creatic, DKC Trading, Ever Bilena, Golden Fabulouz, Handle Enterprises, Indio Cosmeceutical, LBY Enterprises Corp., Lynelle Hair Fashion, Max Factor, Mondes Professional, MRC, MTN Marketing, Schwarzkopf, Shawill Corp., Suesh Makeup Toolkit, TBS Beauty Products Inc., Vybrance International and Wahl.
