A tour of awe-inspiring structures

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - This month, Build It Bigger host Danny Forster travels around the world to breakdown the most astounding engineering feats such as Hong Kong’s Stonecutters Bridge, Abu Dhabi’s Al Raha beach development and US Navy’s state-of-the-art amphibious assault ships. Discovery Channel’s Build It Bigger will premiere Thursday nights at 10 starting Nov. 5 with encores Fridays at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Nerdy, quirky and undoubtedly enthusiastic about architecture and construction, Danny’s big break came when he answered the channel’s call for a TV host audition while working on his Harvard graduate thesis. He brings his love for architecture every episode, going behind-the-scenes of live construction sites to reveal complexities, challenges, dangers and ingenious executions of each job.
