Hinundayan centennial show

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - It was a night to remember for the people of Hinundayan, Southern Leyte when a group of Manila-based performers visited their town recently to join them for the celebration of Hinundayan’s 100th founding anniversary.

Capt. Romel (a pilot) and his wife Lisa Cadingan of Orient Aviation Corp. gifted the Hinundayanons with a four-hour musical extravaganza billed Hinundayan Centennial Celebrity Show where Winnie Castillo, Pork and Beans, the Wow Girls, Emz Melecio, Raisa Esguerra, Cecille Ortega and Michelle Monsayac and Lukas were featured performers.

The Hinundayan Dancers composed of 45 public and private elementary and high school students front-acted the show.

Hinundayan Mayor Evelyn Lee attended the show with the Sangguniang Bayan members. They were overwhelmed to see thousands of people at the municipal gymnasium.
