StarStruck fever hits Davao

DAVAO CITY, Philippines — StarStruck V hopefuls braved the heat and trooped to SM Davao for the regional auditions of GMA 7’s original and innovative reality-based artista search in the province.

Davao’s most promising talents waited for their respective numbers to be called. Each contestant got 45 seconds to a minute to display their talents on stage before fellow hopefuls. Each wannabe was made to choose — whether to sing, act or dance after sharing quick facts about themselves to the judges. Some made sense, others did not.

With all-new rules laid before them, the new batch of StarStruck hopefuls will need to dream bigger, believe harder and survive longer.

The last batch of auditions will begin at 10 a.m. on the following dates and venues: Sept. 19 and 20 at SM Cagayan de Oro, SM Molino, and SM Bacolod; GMA Network Center, Sept. 21 to 25 and Sept. 28 to Oct. 2; and SM Naga, Sept. 25 to 27.
