MANILA, Philippines - With the release of her sophomore project Battlefield (also the title track of her first single), Jordin Sparks (photo) is ready for a follow-up musical combat showcasing a new look and a confident maturity. On the album, the Grammy-nominated artist returns with a fresh attitude and takes on a greater creative role.
Sparks co-wrote several tracks including 911 Emergency, Was I The Only One and The Cure. Sparks enlisted hit-making producers and songwriters that include Dr. Luke, fellow label-mate T-Pain, Ryan Tedder, Benny Blanco, The Runaways, Stargate and Max Martin. The set also includes a cover of Fefe Dobson’s Don’t Let It Go to your Head, a personal favorite of Sparks’ and a bonafide dance smash, S.O.S (Let The Music Play).
Battlefield is out in CDs under Sony Music.
