Ambassadors of Light off to Korea

MANILA, Philippines - The Ambassadors of Light (AOC), a group of visually impaired young singers aged seven to 18 has been invited to participate in the Wataboshi Music Festival on Aug. 31 to Sept. 4 to be held in Seoul, Korea where they will showcase their original compositions led by its founder, Anderson Go, the first ever blind outstanding School of Music graduate of the Philippine Women’s Unviersity. Organized by Tanpopo No Ye Foundation in Nara, Japan, this festival participated by with artists with disability worlwide started in 1991, of which AOL represented the Philippines four times. The AOL Foundation also provides scholarships to sighted and gifted young artists, one of whom was Laarni Lozada (extreme right), a PWU Education graduate who is ABS-CBN’s Pinoy Dream Academy Grand Star Dreamer, Season II, Contributions of support to bring the young talents to Korea and to sustain AOL’s educational and cultural programs are most welcome.
