Runway Phils. Season 2 now airing on etc

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - It’s sew time once again on etc as Project Runway Philippines returns for a second season starting this month. It airs Wednesday nights at 10.

After the success of its first season, Project Runway Philippines and etc are all set once again to showcase what real Filipino talent and ingenuity is all about. Watch out for an exciting season as 13 new designers, coming from different parts of the country, compete against each other for a chance to break into the Philippine fashion scene.

Every week, the designers are faced with design challenges that will test their creativity, resourcefulness, and even their attitude. See who will rise above the rest and earn their rightful spot in the Philippine Fashion Week. The stakes are high because the winner of Project Runway Philippines will get P500,000 cash prize, an editorial in Preview Magazine, sewing machines from Brother International, a designer package from Mannequin, Inc., and a summer scholarship from School of Fashion and The Art’s European partner school Instituto Marangoni.

Model and host Teresa Herrera returns to the show together with fashion designer Jojie Lloren who will serve as mentor to the designers. Joining them the second time around are Apples Aberin and Rajo Laurel as judges. With these big names in the fashion industry, can our new batch of designers perform at their best? Or will they fold under pressure?
