MANILA, Philippines - How does one stay focused and alert during performances? For Myrus, it’s by drinking his favorite Nescafé 3in1.

Myrus is one of the newest artists of Sony BMG Music Entertainment. The Asian Star Entertainment Awardee for Most Promising Young R&B Performer popularized Laging Ikaw, from his debut album Love Cycle. His latest single is the revival of the jukebox classic, Sayang and is currently enjoying major airplay.

“Before going to shows or performing onstage, I make sure that I have Nescafé 3in1,” Myrus says, adding that the aroma of Nescafé 3in1 is what initially drew him to it.

“And I like how it tastes. For me, it has the perfect combination of coffee, sugar and creamer,” he says.

Add to that the fact that Nescafé 3in1 is easy to carry and fuss-free to prepare. “Nescafé 3in1 is very convenient. It‘s perfect for people like me who always need to go from one place to another, whether that be in Metro Manila or in the provinces,” Myrus says.

With a schedule that can be physically demanding, Myrus says that staying focused and alert can be stressful. “I need to stay focused when performing. My gigs often take long hours so I need to stay awake,” the 19-year-old singer shares.

Drinking coffee is also a big help to the young singer during interviews and TV guest appearances.

“I am more attentive during my interviews. Even if I‘m tired after attending shows, I am confident that I can easily answer the questions that will be thrown at me,” he relates.

Drinking coffee definitely helps people perform better by increasing their level of concentration and alertness.
