Editor-in-chief Nana Caragay shares that every year, the Chalk team celebrates its anniversary in August and features young achievers who are the new role models that define the next generation. Who better to be the role model of the youth than KC?

Honored and happy that she was chosen for this month’s cover girl, KC admits that she has her fears when it comes to people’s expectations of her being an actress and an individual. ‘Of course, I somehow feel pressured from the people around me. Like the time when I went to Mindanao to help the people there. It was no joke and it was hard work for me but I’m glad that somehow my efforts were recognized. I know that people see if you’re sincere and I think that’s the most important.’
