MANILA, Philippines - Headlining the Sony Ericsson smile campaign, Sarah Geronimo is ready to smile and sing for the Filipino children. The Sony Ericsson Smile Ambassador will be featured in a special performance to celebrate Spread the Smiles, a project collecting a million smiles to raise a million pesos for UNICEF.
Every smile photo collected through different venues is equivalent to a peso donation to UNICEF. Anyone can donate a smile in Sony Ericsson Experience Shops nationwide; through Smile Booths in participating SM Malls, and through the campaign’s official website at www.sonyericsson.com/spreadthesmiles.
Catch Sarah at an event on July 11, 3 p.m. at the SM North EDSA The Block. She will help present the UNICEF donation and meet her fans.
Sony Ericsson will also feature what it has dubbed as the “Sarah Phone,” the 3.2-megapixel Sony Ericsson C510 Cyber-shot phone in the new stylish, Energetic Red color.
The C510 Sarah Phone has an auto focus camera with a protective sliding lens cover, photo fix, face detection and the new Smile Shutter, a technology that focuses on a person’s smile before capturing the photo. One can post photos and videos directly to one’s blog. The phone is also YouTube-enabled and will soon offer easy access to Facebook.
The special limited edition C510 also features Sarah wallpapers, screensavers, and a graphic theme that you can view on the crystal clear 2.2-inch display. It also comes with her latest hit single, Dahil Minahal Mo Ako from VIVA Records embedded on the phone. A special scrapbook with unique and interesting Sarah trivia is enclosed in the box. To try the phone, Smile booths in SM Malls and Sony Ericsson Experience Shops offer to take smile photos using the C510.
