MANILA, Philippines – Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos (center) welcomes to her province Ricky Reyes (second from left) and officials from TESDA, the Department of Social Welfare, and Filhair Coop who brought the good news of more jobs and skills training opportunities.
About 6,000 scholarships in skills training in bartending, dressmaking, automotive services and other agricultural courses plus a daily allowance of P60 are now available to the 31 towns of Batangas. Gov. Vi and Ricky signed the agreement that a ‘shared responsibility’ with the Batangueños be put in action.
