Belo Beauty 101 goes to Europe

MANILA, Philippines – To attract a bigger global market for the Belo Medical Group, Dr. Vicki Belo brings her Belo Beauty 101 viewers to Europe for the third season of her medical tele-magazine show on The Filipino Channel (TFC).

In keeping with her globe-trotting reputation, Belo explores Paris and Rome in three episodes of the program that will feature the top, exciting destinations in the two famous European capitals.

In Paris, Belo Beauty 101 treks to shopping destinations Champs d’ Elysees and Avenue de Montaigne, as well as the Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Montmartre, Louvre Museum, Sacre Coeur or Sacred Heart Basilica and the Cathedral of Notre Dame.

Belo interviews two Paris-based beauty specialists — French scientist/inventor Philippe Simonin, who patented the Simonin anti-aging procedure and lipo expert Dr. Francois Stravinsky. She also pays a courtesy visit to Philippine Ambassador to France Rora Tolentino and interviews the latter for the show.

Cristalle Belo Henares joins her mom in hosting interesting segments while in Paris. She and Dr. Belo talk to model-turned-jewelry designer Maritess Damian, who shares her inspiring success story and how she battles breast cancer.

In Rome, Belo Beauty 101 uses such backdrops as the Fountain of Trevi, the Colosseum, St. Peter’s Square at the Vatican, the Spanish steps and the shopping mecca in Via de Condotti. Featured interviewee is 23-year-old Filipina entrepreneur Rocio Olbes, whose bags are sold in a store in Rome.

After two successful seasons, Belo Beauty 101 now airs a more interesting third season on TFC with a new lifestyle segment. The thematic episodes every week, giving viewers a peek into the world of cosmetic surgery, which Dr. Belo revolutionized for more than 18 years now.
