Rainy season kitchen tips in House Life

MANILA, Philippines - Resident House Life experts Tessa Prieto-Valdes, Tristan Jovellana, Marilen Faustino-Montenegro and Aissa Gonzalez come to the rescue of celebrities and viewers alike as they give away practical house tips this week on Q-11.

Tessa visits a beautiful Bali-inspired house right at the center of the city. Owned by a Spanish mestiza and her Pinoy husband, the house is a refreshing stop amidst the hustle and bustle of the metropolis. Elegant yet well-lived in, accent pieces from all over Asia adorn the place. What’s interesting is that it is handicapped-friendly, too.

Marilen runs to the rescue of Jaclyn Jose’s daughter, Andi, who asks the help of House Life team to give her bedroom more spunk. Meanwhile, Tristan, being the resident handyman, gets busy rescuing Matet de Leon’s junk and turning it into something of value as she spring cleans her house.

Marilen also finds a store that offers fun yet functional items, while Tessa gives practical tips on how to maintain kitchens dry and safe from leaks, molds and mildew this rainy season.
