Discovery Channel features Dubai

MANILA, Philippines – With nearly 25 percent of the world’s operational cranes parked in Dubai, the city has been dubbed “Las Vegas on steroids”.

With an economy fueled by the oil trade, Dubai is the city to turn to for a look at what the future holds as it pushes the boundaries of what is feasible and makes the impossible, possible.

Impossible City premiered on Discovery Channel last June 14.

Encores will be tomorrow, June 19, 7 p.m.; and June 21 at 4 a.m. and 8 a.m.
