MANILA, Philippines - International pianist and recording artist David Osborne, known worldwide as the Pianist to the presidents, will perform in his first-ever Philippine concert titled The Keys to your Heart on June 21 at the Manila Hotel Tent City.
Osborne has entertained several US Presidents at the White House including Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush as well as a host of dignitaries and celebrities. He has played at the reception for President Barack Obama’s inaugural and is scheduled to perform at the White House this Christmas. He also performs regularly, at the request of former President Jimmy Carter and wife Rosalynn, at the Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains, Georgia. Osborne became a close friend of the Carters after a chance meeting at a bookstore in Orlando, Florida in 1988. He even organized President Carter’s 75th birthday tribute in 1999. Former US Sen. Max Cleland and his assistant John Marshall also enjoy Osborne’s music and ask him to perform at events aimed at preserving the integrity of US military monuments.
Proceeds of the dinner-concert will go to the construction of the Scala Santa Chapel in Monte Maria, Batangas, a project of healing priest Fr. Fernando Suarez, CC. A healing Mass will also be held prior to the show.
