Magnavision's Go Green campaign

-

MANILA, Philippines - As part of the company’s Go Green campaign, Magnavision Home Video introduces new titles from BBC (State of the Planet, Blue Planet, and Planet Earth) and Discovery Channel (Arctic Rush, Can We Control the Weather and the Academy Award Nominee for Best Documentary, Encounters at the End of the World) in the hope of spreading the word about global warming.

In celebration of the cause, Magnavision and SM Megamall hosted on exhibit and special screenings at the SM Megamall Event Center recently in partnership with Sony Bravia, Sony Energy, Caltex with Techron, Starmart, Akari, Body Shop and Greenpeace.

A seminar on Climate Change was held on Earth Day, by Francis Joseph dela Cruz, Greenpeace Southeast Asia’s Public Campaigns Coordinator.

According to Carolyn Chuaying, Magnavision’s Marketing Manager, “Looking at the world today and experiencing the drastic changes brought about by global warming, it is truly alarming to think that years from now we might not have a planet to live in. I admit we still have a lot to learn, and practices that need to be changed but with baby steps, our company tries to know more and do what it can to help the environment.”

Magnavision Home Video is the exclusive distributor of Discovery Channel and BBC documentaries which are available in video stores nationwide.
