PLDT sponsors MusicHERO: Battle of the Uniformed Bands
MANILA, Philippines – PLDT co-sponsored the musical event MusicHERO: Battle of the Uniformed Bands held recently at the SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City, to honor the heroism of the uniformed men and women of the country’s security forces and provide a venue to express their thoughts on peace and nation building.
Participants were the uniformed bands of the various services of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). The Philippine Navy’s Marine Corps Combo was adjudged as the 2009 Champion.
