Miss Iriga 2009 chosen June 11

MANILA, Philippines - Iriga Mayor Madelaine Alfelor-Gazmen and the Irigueños are busy preparing for the annual Miss Iriga 2009 beauty pageant which will be held on June 11 at the Colosseum in Iriga City, Camarines Sur.

The official candidates are Julie Ann Samaniego, Shiela Mendez, Mae May Lenon, Stephen Lomoijo, Maria Kristine Matucad, Micca Jane Biñas, Sarah Christine Bona, Donna Ann Oñate, Jessica de Silva, Catherine Olivera, Chrislene Rempillo, Catherine Smith, Joane Tampoco, Marie Ann Dador, Ivy Protomartir, Honeylyn Cypres, Rachelle Vargas, Dianne Necio, Malanie Kaales, Elysa Jean Baldoza, Sheryl Zorilla and Marifren Regondola.

Iriga City is a fast growing urban center in the Bicol Peninsula which offers breathtaking natural wonders. It is known as the City of Crystal Clear Springs with more than 30 natural springs and offers a captivating view of the entire Bicol River basin area.
