Victory party for People's Champ

MANILA, Philippines - GMA 7 Network recently threw a star-studded victory party for the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world and one of its stars, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao at the Renaissance Hotel in Makati City.

One of the highlights was the signing of another partnership between GMA 7 and Solar Sports which promises more exciting fights for boxing fans.

GMA 7 Entertainment also announced that Manny will have his own TV sitcom.

Gracing the event were Rochelle Pangilinan and Jay-R. Rochelle rendered a song-and-dance number while Jay-R crooned his signature songs.

Also present at the contract signing were GMA 7 president Felipe Gozon; VP and COO Jimmy Duavit; VP for Entertainment Marivin Arayata; program manager Redgie Magno; Solar Sports Entertainment COO Wilson Tieng; and chairman William Tieng.

Seen hobnobbing with guests that evening were Mike Enriquez; Mel Tiangco; former Gov. Chavit Singson; Dingdong Dantes; Paolo Contis and girlfriend Lian Paz; Raymart Santiago and wife Claudine Barretto; Chris Tiu; German Moreno; Chino Trinidad; Benjie Paras and wife Ly Diomampo; and People Asia editor-in-chief and Allure editor Joanne Rae Ramirez.
