Face & Figure at Chicago's Finest gigs

MANILA, Philippines – The recent concert tour here of Chicago’s Finest provided a real treat to thousands of music fans who enjoyed listening to the timeless sound of Chicago as performed by some of the former musicians who at one time or another played with the music legend.

 Ex-Chicago members Marty Grebb, Chris Pinnick, Kenny Cetera and Tim Scott wowed Pinoy audiences at the Hyatt Hotel & Casino-Manila and at the Aliw Theater with their inspired rendition of Chicago’s Beginning, Hard To Say I’m Sorry, If You Leave Me Now, You’re The Inspiration and many more.

Aside from the musical entertainment, a side feature that attracted concert-goers was the opportunity to experience the beauty care fit for celebrities from Face & Figure Center Manila (with tel. nos. 706-5029 or 706-5030) at its merchandising exhibits at the two concert venues.

The facial and slimming clinic made waves among patrons who converged at the booths that showcased its various products and services as its team of medical aestheticians gave briefings and distributed leaflets and product samples.

The exhibits were only the latest in Face & Figure Center’s active involvements in celebrity events and entertainment activities as part of its intensive marketing campaign to promote its products and services to a specialized market segment.

Earlier, it had participated in several celebrity happenings through its sponsorship of the local concerts of international artists like The Happenings, The Buckinghams, Bobby Kimball (former lead singer of Toto), Matt Monro Jr., Joe “Victim of Love” Lamont, Bruce Conte (of Tower of Power), Rex Smith and Sheena Easton.

In fact, it was launched in November 2008 as a special highlight of the dinner-concert of Bobby Kimball at the Hyatt Hotel & Casino-Manila, followed in December by the official blessing of its clinic, with no less than Matt Monro Jr. and his musical director Colin Keyes and wife Pam as guests.
