RP bet wins in 2009 International & Beauty Model Festival in China

MANILA, Philippines - 2009 Bb. Pilipinas semi-finalist April Love Jordan was named 2009 Miss International Beauty & Model Festival, beating more than 40 other beauties from other countries at grand finals held on May 3 in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China. Her court includes Lithuania’s Kuliesaite Laura, first runner-up; Colombia’s Natalia Ospina Acevedo, second runner-up; Gabon’s Ayene Ella Marlyne Lea, third runner-up; and USA’s Sylvia Christina Rita, fourth runner-up.

Funfare’s ‘beauty experts’ Felix Manuel, Joey Cazeare, Gery Yumping and Francis Calubaquib said that April is a recent Hotel Industry & Hospitality Management graduate from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM). The reigning Sanita Ti Ilocos Sur 2009, she was a 2006 Mutya ng Pilipinas runner-up, a 2006 Miss Philippines-Earth semi-finalist, 2005 Miss Calabarzon and a Miss Secret Charm special awardee at the 2006 Miss Tourism Queen of the Year search in Malaysia.
