Believe, The Pop Musical

MANILA, Philippines - One World of Music and Light recently held auditions for another lead role in the show titled Believe, The Pop Musical.

Slated on July 24 and 25 at Onstage Cinema One, Ayala Center in Cebu, the auditions were conducted at the Audio Visual Room of the Eduardo J. Aboitiz Cancer Center at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center compound located along B. Rodriguez St., Cebu City.

The production looked for a woman with a passion for music to play the character of a wife and mother dealing with the loss of a husband and child.

Believe, The Pop Musical is an excellent mix of the entertainment and energy of a musical concert, the drama of theater and the inspirational messages of a retreat. The popular songs that the cast will sing are given whole new meanings through the characters that they play and how we relate to them and to the music. Believe features fresh and new arrangements of the songs we know and the music we love, interpreted by voices that would lift our spirits. The audience are assured of great entertainment.

Co-presented by Cebu City Marriott Hotel, Believe, The Pop Musical is headlined by Isabella, Keith Martin, Radha, Guji Lorenzana, Marq Dollentes, and Benjie Layos. The powerhouse cast takes the audience into a journey with their characters and make them experience how a challenging life situation and personal chaos, through the path of self-awareness, self-acceptance, unconditional love and enlightenment can give birth to a dancing star.

To inspire and believe in the power of dreams as forces behind its conception, the show will feature the creations of designer Jun Escario. It also features the beautiful creations of Cebu furniture and crafts designs for the set. This is in line with the promotion of the creative industry of the city known as the Queen City of the South.

The show is endorsed by the Department of Trade and Industry through the efforts of Cebu DTI Provincial Director, Nelia Navarro. The beneficiary is the KAHAYAG Network of Cancer Support Groups.
