Lovi scores a hit

MANILA, Philippines - Sony BMG Recording artist Lovi recently scored a hit with her new single Dito sa Puso, culled from the album Bloom.

The music video of the song, which was directed by Paul Soriano, features Lovi with Victor Aliwalas. “It’s a beautiful music video because it’s a love story with scenic spots, set in ‘50s,” says Lovi. “And I had a great time shooting the video with Victor,” she adds. “He’s a gentleman,” replies Lovi when asked about the model-turned-actor.

Lovi is happy that her song is climbing up the radio charts. It has reached the No. 1 spot on 97.1 LS FM.

She is currently doing the rounds to promote Bloom. Today, Lovi goes to Robinsons Angeles in Pampanga. On May 17, she is off to Robinsons Novaliches. All shows at Robinsons start at 4 p.m.

Meanwhile, Lovi will be busy with out-of-town shows. Lovi will be in Rizal, Palawan on April 28; Sta. Rosa, Laguna, April 30; Plaridel, Bulacan, May 1 (with Chris Cayzer); Bataan, May 2; and Sta. Rosa, Laguna, May 3.

Lovi will also stage a concert in Lucena City on May 30 with Jan Nieto and Chris.

On the other hand, Lovi’s current soap Ang Babaeng Hinugot sa Aking Tadyang ends its run this week.
