MANILA, Philippines - Kantahan, Katatawanan, Kayang-Kaya with the Ang4 brings Dyords Javier, Isay Alvarez, Pinky Marquez and Bo Cerrudo (photo) together in a show that promises great music, loads of laughter, and wholesome entertainment fit for all ages.
The concert will be held tonight at 7 at the GSIS Theater, Pasay City, as a fund-raising event for the Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines, Inc. (DSAPI). Founded in 1991, the non-stock, non-profit organization initiates programs and offers support for families with Down Syndrome children.
What can the audience expect? Bo says, ‘We do our personal stuff, but when we get together, it’s not like we’re solo acts. It’s a total medley of personalities.’ ‘Four individual artists doing a show together is unusual,’ admits Isay. ‘But it’s also big fun.’ ‘We just want to entertain in the most basic sense of the word,’ says Dyords, to which Pinky adds, ‘We’re going to give you everything we’ve got.’
The universal theme of the concert is what will draw people from all ages to gather under one roof. With the Ang4 members having formed strong relationships with one another, both personal and professional, the concert celebrates the group’s 15 years of togetherness.
