Bear Brand drive in Bicol

MANILA, Philippines – After reaching out to more than one million schoolchildren since its launch in 2006, there’s no stopping

Bear Brand Laki Sa Gatas in educating Filipinos about the importance of proper nutrition.

Led by Precious Lara Quigaman, the annual nutrition caravan recently went to Ligao East Elementary School in Bicol where Lara shared an inspiring message to the participants of the campaign.

“With the help of proper nutrition and the habit of milk drinking, you can be a doctor, a teacher, or anyone you want to be,” she says.

Bear Brand Laki Sa Gatas reaches out to schoolchildren, teachers, and parents nationwide to help them understand the importance of ensuring proper nutrition through drinking milk.

The campaign inculcates to Filipinos that regular milk drinking helps in meeting a person’s daily nutritional requirements as it is considered a complete food with naturally occurring nutrients needed for normal growth and development.             

During the campaign, the students were treated to storytelling sessions, exciting games, and other activities that are intended to teach them good health and proper nutrition.

The kids also met Bear Brand mascots Mama Bear and Kuya Bear and were entertained by Myrus.
