FLASH: Juday-Ryan wedding on May 2

MANILA, Philippines – BREAKING NEWS: Pagkahaba-haba man daw ng prusisyon, sa simbahan din ang tuloy.

And finally, after the “hide and seek” with the media and the not-so-clever attempts at cover-ups, Judy Ann “Juday” Santos and Ryan Agoncillo are marching down the aisle on May 2, a Saturday, at an expected fairy-tale wedding to be solemnized at approximately 3,000-plus-feet above sea level not on a plane as some highly-imaginative showbiz-watchers might be suspecting but in Tagaytay.

Asked if it’s the same place where Claudine Barretto and Raymart Santiago were married more than two years ago, the insider-informer (member of the wedding entourage) simply gave a “hulaan mo” smile.

Members of the wedding entourage, whose identities are kept confidential, are on strict “orders” not to dish out details to the press.

The insider-informer spilled the beans, so to speak, by accident during a phone conversation with this writer.

Unless there are last-minute changes (to ward off the pesky media and gate-crashers?), the reception will be held at Lé Souffle at The Fort, Taguig City.

And the honeymoon? Consummatum est!

Paul Cabral, who is reportedly designing Juday’s wedding gown, is mum on the matter. He is a member of the “conspiracy of silence.”

Because of the wedding, the premiere of Juday and Ryan’s new ABS-CBN sitcom, George and Cecil, has been moved from first week of May to end of the month. Juday plays Georgina and Ryan plays Cecilio, thus the title.

The couple’s wedding has been the subject of speculations since Juday and Ryan started going steady a few years ago. Their romance blossomed on the set of Krystala, an ABS-CBN fantaserye. They have starred in two movies, Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo and Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo,  both of which finished top-grossers in two successive Metro Manila Film Festivals.

Close to each other’s families, the sweethearts have traveled together a few times.

“Ryan is my first serious involvement,” Juday admitted in interviews.

At 31, Juday is one year older than Ryan.

The couple has already bought their dream house somewhere in Alabang. They have consulted a feng shui expert to check every nook and cranny of the house.

Fans need not worry. Juday and Ryan will continue doing movies and TV shows.

Business as usual.
