MANILA, Philippines - The news about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, first reported by a UK paper, coming to the Philippines to look for a child for possible adoption turned out to be a dud.
Now, did you know that the couple was also reported to be adopting an Indian child, a report that was likewise proved to be false?
The report came out in the Scoop section of a recent issue of People magazine, which reads (headlined Rumor Patrol: Are Brad & Angelina adopting an Indian Child?):
According to a report in the Indian press, the couple — who have six children, three of whom are adopted — are planning to adopt a child from that country. But a source close to the actress, who is filming Salt in New York, tells Scoop that the report is “not true.”
