Magical Easter at SM City North-Edsa

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Celebrate Easter as SM City North-EDSA takes shoppers into a world of fantasy and adventure with two presentations that bring out the child in everyone.

Alice in Easterland by Trumpets will be showcased today, 3 p.m. at the Atrium of The Block, while the Theater Down South’s Princess Plumpernickel’s Perilous Adventures will thrill kids of all ages also today at 3 p.m. at the Events Center of the Annex.

Alice in Easterland finds Alice with other kids in a garden searching for eggs one lovely Easter afternoon. She spots one Easter egg behind a rock, and to her surprise, a White Rabbit appears out of nowhere and snatches the egg out of her hands.

She runs after the bunny, follows him to a hole, and ends up in Wonderland where she meets magical creatures like the Caterpillar, the Duchess and the Chesire Cat, the twins Tweedledum and Tweedledee, the Mad Hatter, and the Queen of Hearts. Alice takes part in the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, is challenged by the Queen of Hearts, and with her adventures realizes the true meaning of Easter and friendship.

Princess Plumpernickel, on the other hand, will take kids on an Easter adventure of games and excitement. Restless and tired of her royal activities, Princess Pumpernickel longs to go on quests like princesses and knights do. When she meets Princess Petrified, a reluctant adventurer, her wish to have a fun-filled Easter for everyone is granted.
