MANILA, Philippines - Debuted in the hit The Golden Compass co-starring with Nicole Kidman and Daniel Craig, English young actress Dakota Blue Richards returns to the big screen in a more magical film destined to make her a worldwide sensation.
Titled The Secret of Moonacre, it features Dakota as an orphan named Mary Merryweather who discovered that she’s a princess in a mysterious place inhabited by unusual creatures.
With spectacular scenes made possible by latest innovations in CGI technology, the movie is based on Elizabeth Goudge’s classic children’s novel that inspired popular author J.K. Rowling for the adventures of Harry Potter.
The Secret of Moonacre is now showing in several Metro Manila theaters.
