Featuring a comedic ensemble including Seth Rogen (Knocked Up, Superbad), Rosie Perez (It Could Happen To You), Gary Cole (Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby) and James Franco (Spiderman Trilogy) who was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture — Comedy or Musical, Pineapple Express promises laugh-out loud craziness for Apatow fans.
The movie follows the misadventures of a lazy stoner (Rogen), the sole witness to a murder by an evil drug lord (Cole) and a corrupt cop (Perez). Marked for death, he runs for his life, dragging his dazed dealer (Franco) and his supplier with him on a hilarious pot-fueled adventure.
